Research4Life: access to the collections
The Scientific Library of the IHSM has received free access to one of the world's largest collections, Research4Life (https://portal.research4life.org/), offered by leading international scientific publishers.
The aim is to promote the improvement of teaching, research and decision-making in the fields of health, agriculture, the environment and other natural and social sciences.
Research4Life materials are grouped into the following collections:
HINARI - access to one of the world's largest collections of literature on biomedicine and health. Journals and books can be searched in a special version of PubMed (Medline) and other databases.
AGORA - access to thousands of information resources on topics covering agriculture, fisheries, food, nutrition, veterinary medicine and related biological, environmental and social sciences in government institutions around the world.
ARDI - access to scientific literature in various fields of science and technology. It promotes the integration of developing and least developed countries into the global knowledge economy by strengthening knowledge infrastructure and helping scientists create and develop new solutions to technical problems at the local and global levels.
GOALI - access to 16,000 resources, including books and peer-reviewed journals published by 70 of the most prestigious academic publishers, in disciplines such as political science, economics, philosophy, history and many others.
OARE - access to information resources on a wide range of disciplines related to the study of the natural environment, including environmental toxicology, ecology, geography, environmental economics, environmental law, environmental policy, environmental design, energy, and much more.
Access will be valid until 31 December 2030.
