Generative AI and Academic Libraries

18 - 22 November 2024, Dzhailkanova Maia Head of the Science Library of the IHSM participated in the annual international conference ANKOSLink (https://ankoslink.org.tr/2024/), which was held in Antalya, Republic of Turkey. The theme of this year's conference was ‘Generative AI and Academic Libraries’.

The ANKOSLink International Conference was attended by 495 participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Topics discussed at this year's conference included the impact of artificial intelligence on university libraries, changing teaching methods, persistent identifiers and access to information, research evaluation systems, the importance of consortium research, open science and open access, developments in publishing in the form of new learning platforms, economics and sharing models.
